Introduction

Utilisateur de telles cartes pour d'autres langages, je trouvais que c'était une documentation qui manquait pour Python… Cela a démarré petit, mais quel serait l'usage d'une référence rapide limitée à la seule syntaxe de Python. Aussi cela s'est-il transformé en une documentation plus conséquente, reprenant de façon concise les principaux modules Python, et indiquant d'autres modules disponibles (standards ou externes). Au niveau de la structure, cette référence rapide essaie de regrouper les informations couvrant un même sujet, mélangeant éventuellement des données couvertes en différents endroits dans la documentation Python. Il peut ainsi être utilisé facilement sans avoir à parcourir toutes les librairies Python pour trouver la fonctionnalité désirée. Using such cards for other languages, i thaught it was a missing documentation for Python… It started small, but what could we do with a quick reference limited to only Python syntax. So this become a larger documentation, covering main Python modules in a quick way, and showing other available modules (standard or external). For the structure, this quick reference tries to group informations about same subject, eventually mixing data from different sections in Python documentation. It can then be used easily without going throught Python libraries documentation to identify the requested feature.

Python 2.4 Quick Reference Card Version 0.67 - Date: 29-04-2007 PDF - A4 (600 K) PDF - Letter (604 K) ODT - A4 (163 K) ODT - Letter (163 K) Le document est disponible dans le format PDF, prêt à imprimer, ainsi que dans son format source Open Document (il a été réalisé avec Open Office). Les mises à jour se font sur la version au format A4 du document, et je réalise de temps en temps une mise en page pour un format US-letter. Les versions précédentes sont disponibles dans versions. Pour l'impression, il est fortement conseillé d'utiliser une bonne imprimante couleur, éventuellement recto-verso. La numérotation des pages et colonnes est prévue pour une reliure sur le côté court des feuilles. Les polices utilisées sont Courier New et DejaVu (en version >2.8), ce qui facilite l'édition et l'impression sous différentes plateformes. Note : Si vous voulez créer un lien vers cette documentation, utilisez plutôt des liens vers cette page et vers http://laurent.pointal.org/python/pqrc, car les liens vers les fichiers PDF et ODT peuvent changer au cours du temps. The document is available in PDF format, print ready, and in its source format Open Document (it is written using Open Office). Updates are done on A4 version of the document, and i do an US-letter version from time to time. Previous versions are available in versions. For printing, i advice to use a good color printer, eventually recto-back. Page numbering is done for a binding on small size of paper. I used font Courier New and DejaVu (version >2.8) fonts, which makes editing and printing more easy under different platforms.
