VFort -- Welcome
   
VFort is FORTRAN 77 Shell.
VFort consists of several components.
 FORTRAN programmer-oriented text editor for Windows
It is a standard Windows Multiple Document Interface (MDI) application, which means
that you can operate it in the same way as any other standard Windows application. The
32-Bit Edition is designed for Windows 95 or later using Intel-compatible processors.
Windows metafile viewer
You have possibility to look and to print graphics files in a Windows metafile format -
files with the extension .wmf.
FORTRAN compile g77
GNU Fortran, or g77, is designed initially as a free replacement for, or alternative
to, the UNIX f77 command. g77 also is designed to fit in well with the other fine GNU
compilers and tools. It corresponds to the GCC-2.95 version of g77.

The graphics library DISLIN written in the programming languages Fortran and C. The
library contains subroutines and functions for displaying data graphically as curves, bar

Common Mathematical Library SLATEC
The SLATEC Common Mathematical Library is written in FORTRAN 77 (ANSI standard FORTRAN
as defined by ANSI X3.9-1978) and contains general purpose mathematical and statistical
routines.
VFort requires Windows 95 or NT 3.51, or later editions of MS Windows.
VFort may be used in any way, for any purpose, at no cost. It may be distributed by any
means. You do not need to register to use VFort, or buy a license to use it. You may not
change a single bit, you may not exclude any files or add any to the package and you may
not make of another package
