The objective of the two-and-a-half day workshop is to provide an informalenvironment for the discussion of problems in audio and acoustics and ofthe signal processing techniques applied to these problems. Technical sessionsare scheduled in the morning and before and after dinner; the afternoonshave been left free for outdoor activities or informal meetings among theworkshop participants. 1997dec30 There is now a web page for the 1999 Mohonk Audio Workshop (WASPAA'99) which will be chaired by Prof. Matti Karjalainen of the Helsinki University of Technology. 1997nov21 Some of the committee members jotted down notes related to the workshop - mainly technical issues to do with electronic submissions.
