What is IOGateway?
IOGateway is an ActiveX Control software package that provides you with a
simple, unified way to communicate with a variety of interface boards (or I/O
cards), e.g. Velleman k8055, DSE K2805, etc.
How does it help you?
IOGateway helps you to easily create, adapt and expand your project because of
the following advantages:
No matter how many different interface boards you use, you only need to deal
with the one consistent set of interface functions, instead of all the
different DLLs that come with various interface boards.
The unification enables you to swap interface boards for your project without
having to change your code.
You can use multiple interface boards with your project – just create multiple
instances of IOGateway.
To further ease your project development, IOGateway also comes with a utility
for configuring and calibrating interface boards. The utility has a
generic, or common, user-interface for all supported interface boards, and it
allows you to even change interface boards and their configuration during
runtime.
