Classified
Classified is a program designed to evaluate navigational structures for web sites, documents, program menus, catalogues and other information spaces.
The program, which runs under Windows 95 and 98, was developed by Information & Design and UCDesign.
Classified saves time and money when compared with inflexible traditional methods such as card sorting. In addition, traditional methods are error-prone, and Classified eliminates those errors.
Using Classified
Using Classified is simple. You use a text editor or word processor to create a text file containing your classification scheme.
Then simply open the file in Classified, and you can immediately begin an evaluation session.
For each participant, Classified presents items to be located in a random sequence, to eliminate learning effects.
Classified writes all results to a log file (in CSV format) which you can examine and manipulate in a spreadsheet or word processing program. For each participant, the log file lists each item presented and the attempts to locate the item.

To Install Classified
Download the program file
Using Explorer, double-click on the file you downloaded (setupex.exe)
Follow the on-screen instructions
