Usenet is a global system of computers that exchange messages on thousands of subjects. Messages are posted to newsgroups, they are organised in hierarchies. As for today it has millions of users.
But there are thousands more newsgroups that are dedicated to sharing and downloading binary files. Binary files are data files and they can be jpegs, mpegs, bmp files, avi files, in fact, any file other than a text file is a binary file. Binaries are music and movies and pictures. Use link Global searching to search any file, select type of file you are looking for to limit the list of results. I suggest also to change the 'Results per Page' from 50 to 500, and to select 'Remove Duplicates' option, eventually use 'File Extension' field, you can write there 'avi' text or other file type.
